WebQuest Week 12

HI everyone¡
The task of this week it seems very interesting, to be honest I`ve never heard about the webquest, but I hope to find useful information, that can help me to understand what does it mean?, and which are the benefits that a WebQuest can offer me as a student of a second Language.

What is a WebQuest?
Is a learning model,extremely simple and rich, promote the educational use of internet, based on a cooperative learning and research on learning processes.Is an activity focused on the investigation,in which the information used by the students, is downloaded from Internet.Basically it is a directed exploration, culminating in the production of a web page, which publishes the results of a research.
This learning methodology encourage students to research, enhance critical thinking. Also contribute to developing and bringing different skills to students to transform the acquire knowledge.

I want to share this link, I found an example of a WebQuest used in teaching english.

This week I felt great, I really enjoy the  articles, the task, that Miss. Letty assigned for this week.

When I was reading the article of Susan gaer, I really loved the way that she encourage to their students to develop skills such as: writing,speaking,and reading. and the way that she motivated to their students to get more and new knowledge.

Also I think that this kind of activities can encourage to students to be  more participatives in class, to get more confident with themselves, and  to develop, and improve skills.

Skill-building Websites for Reading/Writing Skill

  

Hi, Dear All..
This week I felt great reading about this articles....Finally I found useful information, at the beginning the readings were too long, and a little bit confusing, but  I realized how important is the technology nowadays. As I said before in other comments, Internet is a wonderful tool, especially for teachers, and students who wants to improve and develop their skills.

We can find many pages, sites for practicing grammar, vocabulary, listenning, writing.
Also in one of the Articles I realized the importance of vocabulary..Many times we don`t have importance to this aspect, but vocabulary is really useful  for writing, and to be able to have a good conversation for people around us.

Well, this is my opinion  for this week...

This week, we`ve been reading interesting articles about how to develop reading, writing,and listenning skills. I`ve already explored some of the links that Miss. Letty sent us , and I find this:

In this page we can find tips for improve our pronunciation, and listening skills. I think this page may be used for intermidiate level. Learners can improve grammar, pronunciation,sounds of the correct words, and more.

I totally recommend this page, as I said before in this page we can find several activities for improve our skills.

Hi Everybody.

In this week, I felt a little bit more confident with myself, because  when I was managed my delicious page finally I could understand the use of this site. In contrast to the last week I see a huge difference about my ideas about what is Bookmarking and What is Delicious exactly.

The last week I learned that Delicious is web page which helps students like me, who always lost our notes and the links of the pages where we find some interesting information for help us to understand an specific topic. and in this week I can said I learn how to use it in order to be able to use it faster and easier.

Well about this week, honestly  I felt with a little of presion, because when I read about that I had to create another account, in other web site, I said: Is not enough to have account in blog, and in nicenet?,What`s the point of this?... But now after read the articles, I realize that now everything is different, I live immersed in a world of technology,and I need to take advantage about the all benefits that this websites can offer me. For example in this website delicious.com, I`ll be able to share with my class all my favorites links, and they can dowload in a secure form information related with our degree.
